State and Local Implementation Grant Program (SLIGP)

What is SLIGP?

The State and Local Implementation Grant Program (SLIGP) is a $118.15 million formula-based, matching grant program administered by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). The program is designed to assist regional, state, local, and tribal government entities as they plan for a nationwide public safety broadband network. Grants will support planning, consultation, education and outreach activities, as well as fund efforts to collect data on existing infrastructure and equipment that could be used by the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) in building a wireless public safety broadband network.
